CGI and VFX Developer

The ideal candidate has a passion for 3D modeling and animation and has a strong understanding of digital video development. The 3D/Video Engineer will work directly with upper management to plan and develop scientific 3D models and animations, educational patient/physician videos, and internal 3D design/video projects for both Web and DVD output. Candidates who do not meet all of the following requirements but excel in one or more key areas will be considered.

Requirements

  • Self-starter with energy, ideas, discipline and enthusiasm
  • Ability to follow scripts and translate descriptive ideas to digital output
  • Demonstrated experience in modeling and texturing using 3DS Max OR Autodesk Maya
  • Fluent with non-linear video editing software such as Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premiere
  • Skilled at creating motion graphics with Adobe After Effects, Motion, or Flash
  • Team player with excellent drive and communication skills
  • Strong eye for light, shade, color and detail

Web Developer

A rapidly growing advertising and marketing agency, based in the San Diego area (Carlsbad, California), has an immediate opening for a proficient contract web developer.

The web developer is responsible for the back-end development and maintenance of a variety of web sites and web applications. They must work closely with our creative team to create seamless and functional web sites. E-commerce experience is required. Experience integrating e-commerce solutions with the Sage MAS 90/200 system is preferred.

Skills

  • 3+ years of experience creating, developing, managing and analyzing client facing and internal websites and web applications
  • Expert in PHP, Javascript, and AJAX
  • Proficient with the .NET framework, ASP .NET 2.0 (C# or VB.Net)
  • Ability to write technical specifications
  • Database experience with Access, SQL, and MySQL
  • Knowledge and experience with a CMS such as Wordpress or Joomla
  • Experience building and implementing e-commerce solutions
  • Keen eye for clean UI implementation
  • Identifies system deficiencies and recommends solutions.
  • Knowledge of web design best practices
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Interface with clients and internal users on a day to day basis to gather requirements and help implement web content solutions
  • Implement clear, effective web pages and integrate with needed marketing elements
  • Creating and optimizing web pages for download efficiency and performance
  • Respond to a variety of web-related requests
  • Synthesize feedback from multiple sources
  • Fulfill multiple project requests while meeting deadlines
